Sacramento got absolutely wrecked by the Bay Area transplants. It's been terrible the last 4 years. Rent and housing has doubled.

What are some ideas? I want to see people explore/articulate ideas. I think we should build villages of eco friendly cottage houses & grant them to anyone who doesn't own another house. Tailor some villages to meet needs of people with severe issues with services on site.

I have a friend that is homeless in fresno, he's disabled and his wife left him. SSI can't cover rent.

And no in congress ever does a thing. Look at CA & the wealth. If homeless don't vote,politicians have no reason to provide help. Even working ppl homeless. Vets who served. Mentally ill who need help. Shame of the USA
