It is tragic, but many of these people are service resistant, deep in drug addiction/mental health and dangerous in their current state. They refuse the help they need. We need to mandate treatment/rehabilitation

I don’t know how Republicans can even remotely think California is socialist or leftist. Liberals are heartless right wing capitalists. They may have a rainbow flag pin and a BLM shirt, but they certainly don’t really care.

Homeless people are people. Merely sweeping them aside doesn’t fix the problem of them being stuck outside through the seasons when they have nowhere to go. I feel for these people because must of us teeter because we live pay check to pay check.
