"It's... our biggest business, one of the last things we still make & export on a grand scale. The bulk of the people elected to congress ... snuggle in a giant fornicating mass in the capital dedicated to the upkeep of the war bureaucracy." - Matt Taibbi taibbi.substack.com/p/lets-n…

So you may be interested in voting independent 2024 then? You could Vote out all federal politicians and you ( the people) would then run this country.
Our "leadership" is betting the fates of American cities in this NATO crapshoot.
Would it be mostly a Cyber War finding out who has the more power? I don't think wars will be fought as before. Interesting to see Russia has over 100,000 troops in waiting.

When a President's poll numbers are low ... Foreign tensions always raise their poll numbers ... that's why Biden is making such a big deal out of Ukraine!

I don’t think there’s a way out of this tbh. Seem to be screwed.

I understand why people want to do away with war--but understand Russia will bring war to many countries unless the U.S. (and preferably the west united)--puts a firm stop to Putin. Putin has openly declared he wants to see the U.S. destroyed. He openly schemed against the U.S.

Ukraine, is only an opener for Putin to next target Poland, Lithuania, even Nordic countries like Finland. We cannot keep ignoring the actions and rhetoric from Putin, his Wagner Group, and other agents in Russia's leadership. They are bringing war to the world, not us to them.

Unfortunately Putin makes it very hard to ignore him. In no small part thanks to Putin and Russian apparatuses he commands, do we have to thank for Trump being elected in 2016. He increased oil production to bankrupt U.S. shale oil producers (and stated that as his purpose).
