Today is the day when Britain will declare whether or not it will extradite Assange. It’s a terrible day for freedom of the press if they do.

We should only celebrate once the changes are dropped or Julian Assange is released. Why cant the U.K. grant Assange asylum like it has done for others.

Utterly disgraceful. Australia and the US have behaved equally disgracefully. The only one not in disgrace is Julian Assange, but Vault 7 was the last straw for the CIA and other anonymous war criminals. I fear for his life.

Assange is a unindicted sex offender. Why won't any progressives acknowledge this? #BelieveWomen #MeToo

They just ruled that he gets to go to the Supreme Court. A tiny glimmer of light

"The prosecution & persecution of Assange is not just directed at him, it is directed to all activists...what's happening here is officialdom sees Assange as a "line' they're choosing to draw. And we're here because Assange is a line that we are choosing to draw" @marwilliamson

"The profound of eloquence and graciousness of @StellaMoris1 Is such a beacon of light; such an example of womanhood at our best, refusing to go away, refusing to shut up but also refusing to, in any way deviate from the best & most gracious that is within her" @marwilliamson 2/3

"This [Assange]case is a vortex..it's not only someone who revealed the crimes of the US war machine but it is someone being punished criminally. The punishment is what is criminal here..the persecution of him is what is criminal here. He is not the criminal." @marwilliamson 3/3

The precedent US prosecution & persecution of Australian journalist Julian #Assange, threatens the right of ALL citizens globally to take a stand against anything the American Govt/corporations do in their countries Its the red line for those who value sovereignty & freedom

"We must stand as people now, not only for freedom of the press we must stand for a radical humanitarianism. The..extraordinary lack of mercy that's been shown towards Julian Assange..but there's an even larger lack of empathy, lack of sanity..the Am warmachine.." @marwilliamson
