From making free tests more available to adequate protection & support for healthcare workers, if the president were to declare a national medical emergency & invoke the Defense Production Act this country would not have been and would not now be in such a weak position re Covid.

Why hasn't this happen yet there must be a reason do you know? If there was ever a medical emergency this is one of them

Because from the beginning of the crisis - as with all things related to health care in America - our govt will only go so far as the dictates of free market capitalism will allow. In the final analysis the health & safety of Americans are considered secondary to corporate profit

Which is why he will not give Medicare A, B & D by EO to everybody, which he could in this pandemic. The path to it is already there in the ACA
