From making free tests more available to adequate protection & support for healthcare workers, if the president were to declare a national medical emergency & invoke the Defense Production Act this country would not have been and would not now be in such a weak position re Covid.

Because from the beginning of the crisis - as with all things related to health care in America - our govt will only go so far as the dictates of free market capitalism will allow. In the final analysis the health & safety of Americans are considered secondary to corporate profit

Lady, several states literally shut testing sites, banned local govt from passing any mask and vaccine mandates, SC prevented any vaccine and test mandates but let's blame Biden
