Almost every developed country except ours has universal healthcare. Almost every developed country except ours has some form of free college. How is it possible that Americans have been trained to expect so little?

Every single one of the countries you speak of, in regards to universal healthcare, are struggling to financially keep it afloat. Longing to be like them was a 90s dream. Also-America’s free college exists. You just have to sacrifice a little in the form of serving your country

Americans are inherently selfish and have not had to give much up. Maybe it comes from not having a war fought on our land like so many other countries. Except that does not explain Canada who has universal healthcare

freedom my friend, freedom. We are free to die in a ditch with no education. Freedom
I tell evil republicans everyday they r easily fooled by America's 1% to hate universal healthcare. Idiots still don't understand.
The UK is bad because American oligarchs forced trickle down economics and austerity. The RW way of modern imperialism.

Good question. Perhaps a combination of the duopoly and the establishment media.
