Medicare for all is hugely popular Marianne it’s not that Americans don’t want it - it’s that we can’t have it because the system is hopelessly rigged. The GOP will never do it, and Democrats will never do it. What’s the point of expecting it anymore

Why is that so many Americans don't understand that investing in health and education leads to..errrr..healthier & better educated Americans - meaning more of them working in good jobs off of welfare & contributing taxes which, in the long term, pays for the original investment?!

Because we let the corporate oligarchs run amok while we are distracted by things and social media. Corporate owned media controls the narrative and keeps the sheep in line. People rarely read books anymore, they're being dumbed down by the very government to which they pay taxes
