Almost every developed country except ours has universal healthcare. Almost every developed country except ours has some form of free college. How is it possible that Americans have been trained to expect so little?

Good question. Of course most of Americans believe we need to work for everything we get. I believe in hard work and being responsible, but if our government can make our life better and less stressful, who wouldn't want that? Oh yeah, Republicans!

Because the USA led the Cold War against communism. They literally murdered millions (committed genocide) for capitalism. Anything other than right wing economics is considered treachery and a crime.
