.@POTUS said today that he wants to get out of the WH more this year and listen to the "experts." Good God, just listen to the people. Tens of millions want health care, cancelled college debt, higher min wage, UBI & some sense that someone in DC even cares that they are drowning

Hundreds of millions don't want the government controlling our personal health decisions. We don't want people who borrowed money and went on spending sprees to get made whole (they should get extremely low interest rates though!). Government shouldn't mandate wages.

Government funded healthcare is not government RUN healthcare. Taking out a loan to get an education is not a "spending spree." And govt sure as hell should mandate a min wage - in fact it already does. It just needs to be higher.

Okay, it’s not a spending spree, but it was their choice to take the loan. Why should tax payers bail them out?

The concern is the recent Supreme Court ruling says that 'government funded' healthcare gives the government the right to dictate the rules regarding the healthcare that they're funding. Citizens want to make their own healthcare decisions.

Students choose how they spend their money. Some of us saved and worked hard to pay for college. Those who didn't shouldn't be given special treatment, it creates resentment amongst people. I like the idea of free community college tuition for -all- citizens.

The DoD "misplaced" $25 Trillion over the past 2 decades. +$4 Trillion on that phony Iraq war. Nobody ever questioned, let alone assigned accountability. I don't want to hear "We can't Afford it". Costa Rica has a better system than us.
