1/Our country has been on the wrong road for forty years, massively transferring the wealth of the middle class into the hands of a very few, embracing privatization at the expense of the common good, and building a reckless war machine both feared and resented around the world.

2/We need a fundamental change, a sharp u-turn, and an awakening to the level of the corruption that has led us to such a perilous place. You can’t put new wine in old bottles, and you can’t look to the people who led you into a ditch to have the skills to lead you out of it.
