1/ It's not the Republican effort to suppress the vote but rather the Democratic failure to inspire the vote that poses the greatest danger to Dems in November. The most powerful antidote to voter suppression laws would be for @POTUS to give people something to vote for.

2/ The lackluster performance of this administration is not only due to Manchin & Sinema. Biden could declare a medical emergency and expand Medicare to everyone tonight; he could cancel all college loan debt tonight; he could declassify cannabis from a Schedule 1 drug tonight.

And when the jurisdiction is gerrymandered so it doesn't matter? Blame the voters? When the state legislatures decide they won't honor the votes cast, blame the voters? When every. Single. Republican. Refuses to allow even debate, using a broken filibuster, blame the Dems?

This right here would require way too much humility and self reflection from a group of people who believe themselves too entitled and elite to need it. They won’t change and it’s time for them to go.

Verrryyyy much off here. Of course there’s more Biden can do. But to say his lack of doing things is a greater danger than what the gop are doing is only downplaying the significance of their efforts. We have not seen an attack on voting like this since the 60s! No joke!

Democracy defeated Communism. Communism became Oligarchy. Oligarchy purchases Capitalism. Oligarchy defeats Democracy.

Canceling college debt without recovering the debt from colleges is disingenuous, and places that debt on all taxpayers. Makes everyone pay for their party. Why not cancel back taxes? Accelerate debt reduction through service maybe
