1/ It's not the Republican effort to suppress the vote but rather the Democratic failure to inspire the vote that poses the greatest danger to Dems in November. The most powerful antidote to voter suppression laws would be for @POTUS to give people something to vote for.

2/ The lackluster performance of this administration is not only due to Manchin & Sinema. Biden could declare a medical emergency and expand Medicare to everyone tonight; he could cancel all college loan debt tonight; he could declassify cannabis from a Schedule 1 drug tonight.

Marianne, the democrats are losing on purpose. Think about it. They don’t want more of a presence in the senate nor in the house. Seriously thinks about it.

Both parties are trash and nothing improves unless/until they don’t exist. Sad truth and the mammoth wall we need to cross.

So wrong! People can be inspired to vote, but if they cannot get a ballot. . . .

Black people in my city having to wait 7 plus hours to vote isn’t because we aren’t inspired…THEY ARE TRYING TO SUPPRESS OUR VOTE. Tf is not clicking ?

Amen, sister. 85% of Democrats supported M4A at the very moment the party finalized its presidential campaign platform... which cut M4A from the platform. These are Silver Platter issues at election time. You have to work hard to screw it up.

I like you Marianne but I vehemently disagree with you. Voters are adults, they should not be petulant children. No one should "give you a reason to vote". Black people didn't fight to vote because "someone gave them a reason". We know that voting is our voice & we will be heard.

You can advocate both. These points would be perfectly fine if you weren’t inexplicably giving Rs a pass on voter suppression at the same time.
