It is inconceivable to me.
Biden could cancel student loan debt today. Sinema can't stop him. Manchin can't stop him. The GOP can't stop him. The freaking Senate Parliamentarian can't stop him. He could score a massive win for millions of Americans AND for his administration, and yet he won't.

Again ... I think Biden is paralyzed by fear ... fear of being criticized by those who's parents could afford to pay for college!

Have you not seen Biden in action over the last 50 years ? Why would anyone think that fucking decrepit old skunk would do anything to benefit the working class ? I’m sorry Marianne but it’s very frustrating to watch these 4 precious years of much needed action slowly dissolve

Universal healthcare first. Second, reasonable F-ing gun control. You can't be jailed for having student loan debt, and, I promise, it won't kill you..!

Why? He has shown who he is for decades. I love you assumed the best. But his actions have been very clear for decades.

He could also give everybody Medicare A, B & D

How about a year of volunteer service rebuilding America and your loans are forgiven. Enough of something for nothing.

Did you not know who he was in November 2020?

With Trump to compare to Biden has been made to appear much better than he is. He is a horrible person with a record to prove it. Progressives need to hold him and congress' feet to the fire if they want any real progress in the next 4 years

It is very conceivable for those of us who didn't intentionally ignore Biden's entire history to push the gaslighting, abusive lie he and the Dem Party are some fantasized "lesser evil". You chose this. This is your doing.
A "stroke of the pen" executive action can be overturned. The Senate needs to put a bill together that they will pass and then the House can get behind it. We need to lasting victory, not a temporary victory. Plus they need verbiage to prevent forgiven debt from being taxable.
