This is why the Republican Party keeps winning even though they’re completely wrong on poverty, healthcare, militarism, corporatism, etc. The Democratic elites *openly* despise their own voters. Republican elites secretly despise their voters, it’s a much better strategy

My piece on the Establishment… and David Brooks (NY Times) whining about ‘followers,’ after the financial crisis has never been more true. The duopoly is clueless, out of touch, & has run the US into the ground. jmhamiltonpublishing.com/201…

This is why progressives need to get involved with their local Democratic parties. We can’t let guys like this be able to control the Democratic party’s strategy. It’s one day a month. Go to your local Democratic Party meeting. Get involved. This is how progressives will win.

The problem is they have bad leaders BECAUSE they have bad followers. Same with the Republicans.

Doesn’t sound like a winning strategy.
