It's not an extremist position to argue that no one should go hungry or without medical care in the richest country in the world; what's extremist is the idea that such things are tolerable.

I was at my kid school in Los Angeles. Sitting on the sidewalk is a guy who’s obviously schizophrenic. 22 years old maybe. Completely falling apart. I handed him a furniture pads out of my car just so we can cover himself. This country is shit

It is very extremist to “argue” for food and shelter when you and I both know argument never won anyone anything. Radical is you not reminding the people daily that they wouldn’t even have an 8 hour work day without labour organization and the general strike.

I would love for this to be the way it is. But as someone who gets up and works hard everyday I find myself resentful towards the many people who just leach off a system. If you’re able bodied there is a job with some benefits waiting for you. Go get it.
