Yes, most Americans support universal healthcare ✅ Most do support free tuition ✅ Most do want a higher minimum wage ✅ And while most support some kind of student loans forgiveness, only 20% support wiping all student debt ❌
The majority of Americans want universal healthcare; the majority want free college; the majority want a higher minimum wage; the majority want to cancel the college loan debt. So yeah, let’s definitely not run on that because it would turn people off.

Most support *some form* of it. Completely wiping it is too big of an ask for most Americans to swallow—especially those who never sought degrees and feel like they’d be subsidizing other people’s lifestyle choices The other things you mention work to everyone’s benefit

Yes I get it, though I think most people who feel that way don’t realize the malfeasance of a system that ever made it that difficult for people to get educated to begin with.

That'll resonate! People's feet need to be held to the fire who benefited from that malfeasance. Sitting politicians oversaw ballooning higher ed costs and now want to offload that cost onto the American people. If the debt goes, those politicians responsible need to go w/ it
