The majority of Americans want universal healthcare; the majority want free college; the majority want a higher minimum wage; the majority want to cancel the college loan debt. So yeah, let’s definitely not run on that because it would turn people off.

I think their warning might more allude to issues like language/pronoun use /transgender issues that are too progressive for many suburban democrats not what you cite. And ppl should listen. It’s what happened with the Virginia elections I think.
