Elite Republicans behave as though the working people of America don’t matter. Elite Democrats behave as though throwing them a little something every once in a while is probably a good idea.

It seems to me that if you are really concerned about the middle class, you should be more specific and describe what policies you are talking about and who specifically is ignoring it or short changing it. If Manchin or Sinema is your example of tossing them a bone, say so.

If Top Republicans are ignorining it, then it really doesn’t make any difference what any Democrat does, because it won’t pass, even without the filibuster.

You sound as though you’re actually giving the elite Dems a pass here, that they’re “providers”(?) Then say that the elite Rep’s are the ones that don’t care. This statement is shallow-minded + way off base/truth. Dems do NOT care about you or the sanctity of life in general.

Oligarchs control both parties. Voting is fine, but we need to put out time and energy into local mutual aid and connecting to our communities.

The whole of our system of governance feels rigged; there are two parties playing one game, and we the people are left out, period. "At least the Democrats toss us crumbs" is something old timers would suggest.

What happens when they're too busy fighting with themselves to remember to throw the workers some scraps
