No one’s arguing for “too much government.” But corporatism is not a free market. It by definition leads to monopolistic power in the hands of a few corporate entities, which is not a free market.

Corporate's do not run countries by definition, weak, greedy and corrupt politicians sell themselves. I look at the current crop of criminals in the US government and I shudder

Corportism is only possible with the state granting privileges.
The man who you quoted was a economic fascist. Did not promote free markets. Promoted monopoly. We are a little confused by the contradictions. The whole idea of corporations in the first place relies on government enforced limited liability.
