Words of #inspiration are so vitally needed, but there is no doubt that the horrors and actionable stressors since we all heard the dark inauguration speech in January 2017 has tremendously affected many who once were guided by very healthy minds, hearts and spirits. #Hope lives!

Enlightenment is easy when everybody around you is being nice to you and everything is basically going well. Times like these are what make it real.

Marianne, thank you. I can easily agree with you about times like these making it real. Since 2015 I've been in a battle w/mets cancer, people have rallied & disappeared yet through it all my real focus has been a continuation of my ultimately positive, seeing/seeking the light.

I have formed loving, new friendships with many at the NYC cancer center; I have been advocating/helping others facing the same, I have been writing instead of painting, and I have been carrying immense gratitude within while staying in touch with the light within & dark outside.
