Let's not romanticize Jan 6 as a single event; it's a pattern. Every time resources of hope & opportunity are transferred from the many to the few, our democracy is attacked. The main point of attack is the systemic corruption that goes on in the Capitol building every single day

It's easier for them to keep things the way they are if we can't all unite long enough to agree to major changes needed to achieve a true democracy; changes to amendments, electoral college, senate representation, first-past-the-post voting, more political participation & voting

9/11 didn't start on 9/11/2001. It started decades earlier with our dependency on Middle East oil. It took 20 years to win that war on terror. It will probably take 20 years to defeat the 1/6/2921 insurrection by going back in time and bombing all the Republicans who started it.

I agree ... If people had better lives with healthcare for all, free college, the elimination of student debt, day care for their kids ... This kind of event could never take place ... the people inside that building were perhaps more responsible than those who orchestrated it.

The pattern is white supremacy and you’re perpetuating it by saying that it’s about political corruption. The white nationalist terrorist who stormed the Capitol were participating in political corruption not fighting against it. They weren’t short on resources just full of hate

Yea. Some of these people had to hitch a ride on private planes instead of flying into DC on their own planes. Some were forced to make long drives in their fifty-thousand dollar pick up trucks.
