All these politicians wringing their hands wondering what could possible bring Americans together, might consider doing things that a majority agree on: raise the min. wage, universal healthcare, cancel college debt, free college. Quell the despair, and you'll quell the violence.

the entire task of a capitalist state is to keep the despair at the perfect levels to quell the violence while sending all the profits up to the ruling class. Voting is their first line of defense in maintaining that hegemony.
