All these politicians wringing their hands wondering what could possible bring Americans together, might consider doing things that a majority agree on: raise the min. wage, universal healthcare, cancel college debt, free college. Quell the despair, and you'll quell the violence.

The people who invaded the capital building a year ago did so because they think these things are socialism. Enacting these policies is not going to quell violence.

Yes, please! But then their corporate donors would cut the flow of cash ... So i doubt it will happen Wait until November when the establishment will start looking for people and things, other than their inaction, to blame for their crushing defeat

Don't forget about restoring the anti-trust laws that used to prevent conglomerates from monopolizing all our media outlets. If Americans are ever going to be well-informed again, these monolithic monopolies need to be broken up!
