The threat posed by our war machine, to our democracy and to the world, is as big as that posed by Big Oil. It's as materially bad and in a way morally worse, committing untold numbers of killings of people in other parts of the world under the guise of national security.

But people are making money off of the war machine, and a lot of it. This economic system incentivizes war by making war profitable. Profit driven economic systems will always lead to war. Time to change that. thevenusproject.com/resourceโ€ฆ

We need much better oversight!
That 'war machine' is called Republicans.
HAPPY SQUIRT Our mandate promotes health, wellness, quality living, responsibility, truth, peace, harmony, & love. Republicans (both state & federal) are actively working against our values in ways that many find repulsive. Authoritarian rule is their endgame? WE WANT NO PART! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

much of our military exists for the sake of deterrence. China, Russia, and Iraq are all currently engaged in a bit of saber rattling and each poses a significant threat to global security. the world is a dangerous place and national security is a primary obligation for govt.
