The threat posed by our war machine, to our democracy and to the world, is as big as that posed by Big Oil. It's as materially bad and in a way morally worse, committing untold numbers of killings of people in other parts of the world under the guise of national security.

The carbon footprint of the US military is astounding in its own right and that’s before you consider its death and disability count in foreign civilians and among its own number. Truly a gruesome tally unmatched in the last 50 years by any other single entity anywhere.

We'll never ever get rid of "Big Oil" as long as we keep "Big Military" that cannot operate without fossil fuels.

Will you leftists please stop using the “it’s the greatest threat to our democracy.” It’s totally worn out.
It’s the continuing war of Religions and the slavery of man as farm animals in a quest for global authoritarian fascism.
