For years we've been trying to solve 21st century problems with 20th century thinking, doing more to perpetuate problems than to solve them. This should be a year when outside-the-box becomes the new normal. The only place to be is outside it.

I've been outside the box for many years. It gets lonely. As some people have pointed out, humans are very social and likely to respond to social inclusion rather than independent thinking. Social media fulfills that sense of inclusion. I don't hold much hope for humanity.

I promise to act strictly ... "OUTSIDE THE BOX" ... until this country is back on track ... and after that ... I'll only take a 10 minute breather ... and then I'll begin again!

When there are two options and neither creates improvement then innovation, perhaps a dialectic, is overdue.
