I am reading and listening to this @marwilliamson. While I am not sure I fully agree with the concept of transforming capitalism, I will continue to listen. I think capitalism like other social/political constructs is a cycle and greed is the accelerating force to its implosion.

There is no monetary system that can bring real democracy and create the right conditions for a healthy planet. Sharing is the only solution. However, the idea of losing ownership of what we got and sharing with other people will make most people freak out.

Transforming Capitalism ? There is nothing left to transform.

You can't transform a system which was based on slavery and Feudalism.

"When humanitarian values form the organizing principle for our economy – for our democracy, our people and our planet – America will transform."... I agree ... if not ... this Country will devolve into a place that's stagnant, unhealthy and unlivable!

Transform into what exactly? Communism?

Everyone thinks they have devised a better system than Capitalism...until it's tried. Then, what we find is someone who has mixed emotion with Mathematics and ruined both.
