When fast food companies can kill a min wage hike, airline execs unduly influence the CDC, Big Pharma keeps drug prices so high people die unnecessarily, & Big Chem, Ag & Oil can poison our food & land, we’re living in a system of corporate tyranny. Time for nonviolent overthrow.

From her tweet, of the "system of corporate tyranny". What we ought to know is more akin to, I would say, "in order to replace it with WHAT exactly"...?
To me, the tyrant is unfettered and unregulated capitalism. It's not a switch you just turn off. Economies in Europe that are hybrids of free market and socialist forces are working. Why not that, Peter?

Unfortunately Germany and the rest of Europe are still infected at the heart of their economies. Capitalism and patriarchy are at the roots of systemic injustice and remediation will never undo all the harm already done. Still a world apart, but a half world apart

Didn't we already try that once with FDR? History has a way of repeating itself, need a new system (and no, not "Socialism"). #DirectDemocracy #GiftEconomy
Replying to @marwilliamson
@marwilliamson ideology alone you are correct, BUT the ones making laws are bought and paid for,and are making policy not based on ideology, but for the benefit of themselves and entities bigger than our government. That is why we are where we are. The people are burden to them.
