Yes. King went to India, studied Gandhian principles of non-violence and brought them back to apply to the struggle for civil rights in the US in the 1960’s

Our system is beyond repair, those with the authority and ability to change it are rooted in it's corruption and will never allow it to change. The American system will be replaced, but not until this one collapses.
