Raise costs for everyone, and will just cause a bigger bubble down the line. Don't borrow money you don't intend to repay.

Teach people that taking responsibility for their financial decisions is for losers without college degrees.

Oh, and please tell us the economic advantages of cancelling mortgage debt, car loan debt, outstanding debt on corporate lines of credit, credit card debt....why focus on student debt? Cynical politics as always.

Amazing how many people who normally consider themselves to be moral people would advocate for such an immoral act.

Why stop there? Cancel ALL loan debt. Imagine the wealth that would create. The freedom. True home ownership, not bank ownership with tenant slavery. Brilliant!

Why not make the loans interest free? I know so many students who have taken out massive loans and spent the money on cruises, vacations, and some tuition. We also need to provide more service opportunities to pay for school.

I agree with cancelling the debt, but I’m also wondering about people currently taking out loans for school- would theirs be forgiven? I didn’t finish college, in part, because I didn’t want to take out more loans.

Additionally, what about medical debt? Nobody chooses those expenses.

I don't understand ... If Biden has the ability to eliminate all student debt ... why doesn't he do it? ... Is it Fear again? ... Fear of being criticized?
