A “government of the people, by the people & for the people” would have Medicare4All, free college, cancel the college loan debt & raise the minimum wage. A govt that does none of those things is a “govt of a few of the people, by a few of the people and for a few of the people.”

The one caveat I think everyone misses with minimum wage is that it has to be tied to cost of living. The issue with that is making and enforcing that on a per-state basis. Bernie’s $15/hr goes a hell of a lot farther in North Dakota than in Hawaii.

government doesn't set the costs for healthcare, college, or labor. with no control over costs it is impossible to commit to providing all of those services for free. government does nothing especially well and you seem to be advocating to add to that list. disagree completely
