You're giving them far too much credit in my opinion. They knew what they were doing all along. They are part of that system. WE were played. They too are part of the system that has knowingly played the people.

Too late now. What they need to do is scorched earth policy. No more playing nice. We tried that and was betrayed. It’s time to push Biden to use EO. Go after Manchin for his corruption and his family. Take it to him in WV. Go after Biden. Go After Chuck and Nancy.

They should have held the line at $3.5T. As soon as that Rubicon had been crossed I never had any hope that a decent bill was going to get passed. When I heard Ro and Pramila talking about what would be acceptable cuts from there, I knew it was over.
