1/ If we really want to eradicate the mental health and addiction crises, the most powerful things to do would be to eradicate poverty, provide universal healthcare, raise the minimum wage and cancel the college loan debt….
those solutions will never be implemented under our current system,in fact, I’d say the evidence shows that those who fall below those markers are purposely forgotten and willfully expendable as things are now(I’m sure that right wing think tanks have a disposal program in place)
Things have not gotten easier. Because of technology we can do more in a eight hour workday or in a 16 hour awake day. It’s difficult to stay in the moment at times. But that’s what we have to do.
