We’ve let Reaganomics run for so many decades that now, we will also need to subsidize small businesses for a while, in order to restore proper wages. Bet we could do that by shifting subsidies from those corporations we currently subsidize.

Here in Canada we have universal healthcare but still have poverty, drug addiction, some living on the streets, college loan debt. Life isn't free: - God helps those who help themselves, with ambition & drive & persistence. Merry Christmas!

We also desperately need a robust community substance abuse health care infrastructure. We don’t have that. It’s become primarily a for-profit system. The “personal responsibility” model/approach to substance abuse is a dismal, inhumane failure!
