@bungarsargon points out how canceling college loans would impact the already wealthy not the working poor. At the same time I've seen horrible stories of women selling their eggs to pay off debt from NYU so I don't want to be callous. I'm curious what you both think of this.

You are far more pragmatic than most people. The fact that you recognize causality shouldn't be a lofty concept to others. It is astounding how simple minded and downright stupid are some politicians. Paradoxically, an abundance of education is no assurance of intellectuality.

I’ve lost more friends then I could count to this disease & worked in arguably the toughest rehab ever yrs ago .. none of these issues as serious as some are had a single thing to do with addiction.. It’s not a disease that discriminates upper from lower class ..

Just bring back the Smith Mundt act and jail all the media who continue to spread government propaganda... That would help the most with the mental health issues going on. (not saying other things might not be "nice")

So basically become more like China, the country you want America to overthrow.
Despite @marwilliamson claiming to be against the MIC, she’ll be thrilled that the so-called “democracies” of the world are dangerously threatening “authoritarian” China who believes in and practices poverty alleviation.

This is so true. The most powerful thing you can do is put money directly in the hands of people for them to better their lives
