The idea that all men are created equal - with the inalienable right to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness - was a radical idea in 1776 and it’s a radical idea today. We’ve never fully actualized it but the higher purpose of every generation is to inch us closer to the goal

But we cannot become complacent in the hope that the future generations will save us. It is our duty to pass more rights on to the next generation so they may have the freedom to fight for equalities we cannot yet even approach.

It won’t happen under capitalism. It won’t happen while the Republican and Democratic parties exist. It would take bold, unconventional, and likely unconstitutional actions just to put us on the right path.

They just wanted a new world where they didn't have to be born into the aristocracy to be part of the elite. A new world built upon genocide, slavery, and pure greed. The freedom to engage in unbridled ambition. "You aren't a corrupt narcissist...you're an entrepreneur."
