Shocked and saddened to hear about the death of my friend bell hooks. A rare combination of high searing intellect and pure sweet spiritual nature. She will remain a light on my path and the path of so many. Rest In Peace, dear sister.

I got introduced to bell hooks at a women’s conference you organized at the Fox Theater in Detroit many, many years ago. It was the best conference of my life. (Thank you for that and the many other ways you’ve inspired me).So sorry to hear of her death. #Stillhavetheteeshirt
