Infants who have enough time to bond with their parents in the weeks after birth are likely to develop fewer behavioral problems later on. If we want to repair America, we can begin by taking better care of our children.

New moms in Denmark are guaranteed 126 days of paid leave to spend with their newborn. New moms in Canada are guaranteed 119 days. New moms in France are guaranteed 112 days. New moms in the United States are guaranteed ZERO days. Let's end this international embarrassment.

I wonder what the polling says about this? If over 50% of US citizens want it, and if the US actually were a Democracy which it claims to be, then why isn't this law? Because the US is NOT a Democracy and is in fact, rule by the few (a Plutocracy).

Democracy is majority rule by direct vote, if we had that we'd have: M4A Green New Deal Free college Guaranteed vacation time Guaranteed maternity leave Higher minimum wage Higher taxes on the wealthy Less military spending... And why don't we? Because we have rule by the few.

The white racists should look at this as one of the primary reasons the birth rate is falling in the USA. In fact, low wages and no parental paid leave is a determining cause of plummeting birth rates in the USA, not abortion!

What you've said reminds me of the Film "The Wisdom of Trauma"... If parents aren't around to pick up their children ... The consequences can be horrific ... 126 days of paid family leave would save this country Millions and perhaps even Billions of dollars each year ..Thank You!
