One reason I hate all the arguments like “why should student loan debtors be forgiven when they agreed to the contractual terms” is that they totally overlook all the ways in which the state already lets rich people off the hook for their obligations.
It was . . . and for that reason many ppl didn't go, and many struggled to pay off theirs. . . Forget debt forgiveness. How about you cut EVERY American a College tuition Size Check!
