If defense contractors didn’t dominate our foreign policy; and Big Pharma and health insurance companies didn’t dominate our healthcare; and fossil fuel companies didn’t dominate our energy policies, wouldn’t we all be better off?

It would seem so. However, they are incentivized to get involved because we’ve allowed the Federal Gov’t to exercise absolute power in these areas (1st is the only one that makes sense constitutionally). Unfortunately 💰 will find its way to power, so why not restrict the power?

Our generation is the only one that has not passed an amendment to the Constitution. If we don’t pass Campaign Finance Reform, and end lobbying, some time soon - we’re going to wake up one day in full blown fascism. It’s literally our only hope.

If the focus of the defense contractors was really good, and they were targeting rape murder and other violence... And putting an end to that around the world... That would be something, right? And if the drug companies actually had cures that worked really well...well...
