This is Anne’s son Christopher and it breaks my heart to inform you that earlier tonight Anne passed away due to complications resulting from a stroke. Below is the statement I shared on her Facebook page moments ago.
I'll be needing your works more than ever, Marianne, through the coming weeks. Just as with many who have read Anne's work, this loss is very difficult for a lot of us. Thanks for the body of work you've put out that deals with grief, and so many of the other travails in life.
