This has nothing to do with our security; it’s simply the legalized corruption of Congress held hostage by the defense industry.
BREAKING: The House just passed a $768,000,000,000 defense bill. What an absolute disgrace.

I always find it supremely ironic, looking at politicians from his party today, that it was a Republican president who originally warned of the military-industrial complex.

We need a 28th Constitutional Amendment to permanently override Citizens United: ➡️Corporations are NOT people and don’t have the same rights as individual citizens AND ➡️Money is NOT a form of constitutionally protected free speech MoveToAmend.org

Your argument is valid, yet you support and vote for those in congress that voted for that bill! #Hypocrite

.Um @marwilliamson hostages are held against their. The MOCs who voted for $768 BILLION war funds are willing accomplices. And I believe the American and global public are the ones being held hostage by this vote.

The most profitable business in existence is the racket called "war". Of course the system aims to maximise that profit by going all in, as far as it possibly can at every opportunity. And future generations need to be sheared … so they pay for it. Everyone likes money ;)

And in Hawaii we are told that the Navy doesn’t have the money to shut down Red Hill fuel tanks that have poisoned people. The next spill could be worse. Imagine all of Honolulu without clean water.

How do we do something about this? We pay ourselves on the back for noticing but we never do anything. Electoral politics won’t work, the only Democrats we get to vote for are pro-military (many of them ex-troops). What the hell do we do??

Yep. Legalized corruption is why I work for @WolfPAChq to get a constitutional amendment focused on campaign finance reform.
