It is also a warning shot to any other journalists with integrity who may wish to publish information which the state doesn't want the people to know about (i.e. illegal activities).

A reminder that Don Junior’s texts with Assange are evidence that he’s not too dumb to crime. He is pretty dumb, though. Add this to the intent pile. Apparently he doesn't truly know corruption. The crimes of others he deplores but of himself he doesn't keep score

Mr. Assange, whose publication in 2016 of Democratic emails stolen by Russia aided Donald J. Trump’s narrow victory over Hillary Clinton.

We condemn today’s decision, which will prove historic for all the wrong reasons. We fully believe that Julian Assange has been targeted for his contributions to journalism, and we defend this case because of its dangerous implications for the future of journalism

Biden hosts a Democracy Summit ... while Julian Assange is extradited to the US for exposing US actions ... actions that clearly lean towards a totalitarian way of governing!

The US is a brutal imperialist empire, I don’t think there’a any other way to characterize it. What’s happening with Assange goes hand in hand with expanding military budgets
