As expected, Britain has chosen to extradite Assange to the US. He exposed murder and torture that the US govt prefers to keep secret. It is critically important that we make a stand AGAINST govt secrecy - and FOR freedom of the press and our right to know.
The High Court in London ruled that U.S. assurances were enough to guarantee Assange would be treated humanely and directed a lower court judge to send the extradition request to Britain’s interior minister for review. ⁦@DanicaKirkaapnews.com/article/87c7f8f5a…

It's lovely to see we're all able to pull together and try to do the right thing in the world. Especially when helping another human being. Thank you. ✌🏽

I think it's our responsibility now ... to make dam sure Julian is treated humanely and fairly while in prison in the US!
Then that presumably is a case Assange can make in a court with jurisdiction, ie in the US, if he thinks he was justified in leaking classified material and breaking the law. Or does he not have the courage of his convictions?

He “exposed the CIA” but is that all he did? He’s not a Boy Scout, let’s not get that confused. Another thing, REALISTICALLY: You can only dig into the bank of somebody’s classified items SO MANY TIMES before they “smack you on the hands”.

Why doesn't The Squad stand up for Assange? Why the silence, @AOC ?

The possibility of extradition was deplorable up until a couple months ago. But after we learned of US plans to kidnap and/or assassinate Assange, on British soil no less, it's now beyond words. Two formerly great nations imploding into vile, nichilistic ignomy.
