2/ It already has, and will continue to if left uncorrected, begun to shrink the political base of progressivism. It is a serious surrender of moral authority, and a surrender of moral authority almost inevitably leads to a loss of political authority.

True, but dominionism is actually a fascist cult trying to take over the world, pretending to be a religious movement. They want power, wealth, domination. Chris Hesges wrote about it. Their propaganda hides in religious language and symbols - followers need to wake up.

I agree ... If someone mentions faith ... right away most will think they're not worth paying attention to ... but faith is the expression of a personal journey ... allowing each one of us to find his or her own path.

It feels a bit unfair to blame the war on abortion rights on a secular minority not failing to make the Christian majority feel good enough about their beliefs that its okay to control women's bodies is worthy of respect. No amount of glad handing would've changed any of this.
