The 1965 Voting Rights Act has been gutted by SCOTUS over the last few years, paving the way for voter suppression efforts around the country. We need the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the Freedom to Vote Act to counteract the damage. Why can’t Democrats act on this?

You have someone like me (gay, millennial, union household) who donated to your campaign, who would now vote for Trump over Biden.

#VotingRightsAct I strongly support Voting Rights of all Americans but the John Lewis Voting Rights Act is terrible legislation. Most folks arguing for this Act have not even read the Act. This act sucks because it discriminates against "minor minorities." Fix it, not pass it.

Because the damned Dems are in on it. That's why.
