The Pentagon is one of the most corrupt aspects of the US government, having little to do with our genuine security needs and everything to do with adding to the profit margin of the military industrial complex. Its whoredom is supported equally by both major political parties.

I actually agree with you! One of their problems these days is that they’re more worried about being “woke” than they are protecting the country. The Afghanistan withdrawal has been an inexcusable disaster.

Global finance exerts power over the policies of the US. State Street, Vanguard, BlackRock, Capital World Investors, and Wellington Mgmt own big chunks of shares of major military corps. A ‘New Marshall Plan,” is a pre-requisite for any serious attempt to end the “war economy.”

Most importantly, corporate media is also party to the propaganda that sways public opinion to support everything military. "Thank you for your service" Repeat over and over. I have nothing against those who serve. They are used as a tool to promote false needs.
