It’s not a radical notion that govt should do what it can to help all of its citizens succeed. With free education and health care plus economic policies that are fair to the working class, people are granted the “inalienable right” to “the pursuit of happiness.”

Covid has shown that our ruling class doesn’t care if we live or die… with that in mind it’s pretty clear they also don’t care if we thrive, and perhaps even see poor and suffering folks… as much easier to control.

This isn’t profitable in the minds of the very wealthy who run this country. It’s better to keep people struggling than to support innovation and empowerment. Doesn’t matter this system is dying fast.
