The only way to compete successfully with China or any other country over the next 20 years is by making a massive and radical investment in the well-being and education of America’s children.

In the past two decades the USA went from #1 to #27 in terms of education. We are about to be left in the dust and are competing with nations that are investing in education

Imagine if we'd done this 20 years ago. We'd have a few less now-obsolete fighter jets, but a lot more smart and healthy kids.

…. Or we can just use our military and control of world banking system. I wonder which it will be.

The powers that be dont care one way or another. As long as they maintain and can increase their wealth the people can suffer and they don't care.

China is going to overtake us in the coming decades, and that's both inevitable and okay. We should invest in our children simply because it's the right thing to do, not out of a childish desire to be #1.

*The only way to cooperate for a better future instead of the violent competition of the past... Had to edit. :) Unless we mean compete for the best health outcome, least breakdowns/technical issues on public transit, etc...

We can't compete with China bc their system is better than ours. Also, if we don't end our system of capitalism, we won't have a future to worry about anyway.

Too late, there is no competing with China. In GDP terms they are already bigger than the USA & will only get bigger. Their anti-ship missiles have made the carrier taskforce obsolete. Confrontation will lead to a Suez Crisis moment and the US will no longer be world hegemon.

Why is the plan to compete with China? Why is it always China? Politicians post stuff like this then be like #StopAsianHateCrimes
